Paul Kennedy | Limited Edition Prints | Irish Artists | Keltic Creative

'Welcome agus Failte romhat!’

Hello, I am Paul Kennedy and welcome to my website ‘Keltic Creative’. I love to paint what I can best describe as, ‘Animated Realistic scenes and iconic images from around Ireland’

I think I have always been interested in Art and especially drawing. From an early age I would love to colour and this progressed into Pencil Drawing which is still something I love to do when I have spare time. And, in between waiting on Oil Paint to dry!

When I left school, I had originally wanted a career in something Art related. But at that time there were only limited opportunities in this niche field. So, I took a completely different course in the Transport Industry and parked my ambitions for a lot of years! All this time I always thought about rekindling my passion for drawing.

About 10 years ago I found myself with more time that I was used to and I started to explore Oil Painting. I found this new medium very exciting in terms of the colour and effects that you could achieve with a lot of patience and application!

I have travelled extensively around Ireland and the many beautiful Islands that hug her coast, and this is where I get most of my inspiration.

I sell a wide range of Prints and Limited Edition Prints of my Original Art work here on this website that I hope you will like

Just waiting to discover how the light changes the feel and atmosphere of an area is something that pulls me back to some of my favourite places in Ireland, time and time again. There is always something different and magical to discover.

After many years of thinking about it, I have finally decided to see if my work can get a bigger audience and this is my ‘Sounding Board’ I suppose! Even though I do not have a vast library of work yet, I hope you like the ones that I have listed here. Some of these took an incredible amount of hours to complete and that probably explains why my Gallery is not as extensive as I would like it to be. But now that I have completed the groundwork, I am hoping that I can be a lot more productive with my work over the next few years. Please keep watching’ and subscribe to my site if you like what you have seen so far. I am looking forward to sharing many more beautiful images from around our incredible Island in the very near future,

Go Raibh Mile Mait Agut
