Limited Edition Print of Original Oil on Board based on a visit to ‘The Old Schoolhouse’ in Dunquin County Kerry, Ireland. This was built for the making of the Film ‘Ryan’s Daughter’ starring Robert Mitchum and Sarah Miles. We were staying in the beautiful town of Dingle and this old Schoolhouse is on the coastal drive from Dingle to Dunquin, it is a magical area to drive, I was struck by the way the sunlight lit up this old building and I tried to capture that in this study. I was fascinated by the window looking out to the sea and could imagine the pupils daydreaming about the endless possibilities across the vast ocean
This is a Limited Edition Print of an original Oil Painting Shadowplay by Paul Kennedy, Keltic Creative. It is based on a trip to the Old Schoolhouse in Dunquinn Co Kerry. Ryans Daughter was filmed here. Prints are of the highest quality and printed on Fine Art Archival paper using the Giclee process.
